When people ask me about my accent, I am not quite sure what to say. I am the product of five disparate cultures.

I have lived in 4 different countries since I was 6 years old, and I speak more than five languages.

As a world traveler, I realized that nothing bonds people more than traveling, and my journey has been more memorable than the destination I have planned.

It has given me insights to see things others might not see, and feel things others might pass.

To still retain the humility to understand people's heart and serve in their own uniqueness, which I believe has made me become a better bedside physician.

I also love painting and started teaching myself while I was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley. 

Both Art andTraveling have become my outlet for creativity and an avenue to connect to others around the world.    

Aside from being a mom to two wonderful golden retrievers (Milo and Luna), these are the colors of my life.
